About Steven Holly
Steven Holly is a hospitality consultant with more than 30 years of experience in restaurants, hotels, resorts, and large-scale hospitality operations.
I’ve spent more than 30 years working in hospitality.
I started in kitchens, learning the craft from the ground up. Over time I moved into leadership roles across restaurants, resorts, and large-scale hospitality operations, eventually overseeing multi-site culinary and hospitality programs serving thousands of guests every day.
Those experiences taught me something that doesn’t show up in textbooks:
Most restaurants don’t fail because of the food.
They struggle because the systems behind the business slowly break down — menus become too complicated, teams lose structure, costs creep up, and owners end up carrying the pressure alone.
For years my role was helping large organizations solve those problems internally. But eventually I stepped away from the corporate world to rebuild my own life in a more honest way. That process of reflection, writing, and self-awareness became the foundation of my consulting philosophy: Honest Rebuilding.
Today I work directly with restaurant owners and hospitality operators to identify the root causes of operational challenges and rebuild the systems that support profitable, sustainable businesses.
Because great hospitality deserves systems that actually work.

The Vision: Systems That Support Hospitality
I envision an industry where restaurant leaders move from managing chaos to leading with clarity. By rebuilding the systems that support the business, operators can finally focus on what matters most: the guest experience.
